When tomorrow starts without me And I'm not there to see, If
the sun should rise and find your eyes All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry The way you did today, While
thinking of the many things, We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, As much as I love you, And
each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand, That
an angel came and called my name, And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready, In heaven far above, And that
I'd have to leave behind All those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away, A tear fell from my eye For
all my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for, So much left yet to do, It seemed
almost impossible, That I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays, The good ones and the bad, I
thought of all the love we shared, And all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday, Just even for a while, I'd
say good-bye and kiss you And maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized, That this could never be, For
emptiness and memories, Would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow, I
thought of you, and when I did, My heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through Heaven's gates, I felt so much at
home. When God looked down and smiled at me, From His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity, And all I've promised you. Today
your life on earth is past, But here life starts anew.
"I promise no tomorrow, But today will always last, And
since each day's the same way There's no longing for the past.
"You have been so faithful, So trusting and so true. Though
there were times You did some things You knew you shouldn't do.
"But you have been forgiven And now at last you're free. So
won't you come and take my hand And share my life with me."
So when tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far
apart, For every time you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart.
Send this to all those you care about... Because you never know what's
going to happen tomorrow... Show them how much you care, before it's too late...

A Friend's Love

No one really knows What kind of bond we share And
even if I told them They probably wouldn't care
You are very dear to me I hope you know it's true And now
that you are sick Tell me what that I should do?
While you've been gone A part of me has been lost It's like
I've taken our friendship for granted And now I'm paying the cost
I never knew how much you meant to me Until
you went away The thought of you being really sick Haunted me every day
I spent a few days at school alone And
my weekend was such a bore A lot of my time was spent in my room I think my mom's ready to break down the door
And
now I make this vow to you To keep until the end I'll help you through the pain and tears Until our rivers bend
So
if you ever need someone You know just who to call I'll be here by the phone To catch you if you fall
My Angels |
by Francisco Zenteno |
There are two angels whom I know, Both so
glorious they seem to glow. When they smile you don't need the sun, And that's not all, these girls are fun! One
is sweet and thinks of nothing but others, The second is strong and has many colors. My love for them grows every day, My
closest friends forever I pray. I miss my angels when we are apart, They fill an emptiness that is in my heart. Annie
I'll miss you when you are away, You'll always be my angel tomorrow and today. Rossie, you are perfect, perfect as can
be, My love for you both won't fade, This you'll always and forever see. | |
Some days are cloudy and grey, And it seems as if the rain is Chasing
all your dreams away. While other days are bright and sunny, Making you feel as though the feats You can accomplish
are many. |

On this particular day, I have but One wish coming your
way... I hope you have a wonderfully nice day!

Life isn't about keeping score. It's not about
how many friends you have Or how accepted you are. Not about if you have plans this weekend or if you're alone. It
isn't about who you're dating, who you used to date, how many people you've dated, or if you haven't been with anyone
at all. It isn't about who you have kissed, It isn't about who your family is or how much money they have Or
what kind of car you drive. Or where you are sent to school. It's not about how beautiful or ugly you are. Or
what clothes you wear, what shoes you have on, Or what kind of music you listen to. It's not about if your hair is
blonde, red, black, or brown, Or if your skin is too light or too dark. Not about what grades you get how smart you
are, how smart everybody else thinks you are, or how smart standardized tests say you are. It's not about what
clubs you're in or how good you are at "your" sport. It's not about representing your whole being on a piece of paper
and seeing who will "accept the written you."
Life just isn't.
Life is about who you love and who you
hurt. It's about who you make happy or unhappy purposely. It's about keeping or betraying trust. It's about friendship,
used as a sanctity or as a weapon. It's about what you say and mean, maybe hurtful, maybe heartening. It's about starting
rumors and contributing to petty gossip. It's about what judgments you pass and why. And who your judgments are spread
to. It's about who you've ignored with full control and intention. It's about jealousy, fear, ignorance, and revenge.
It's about carrying inner hate and love, letting it grow and spreading it. But most of all, it's about using your
life to touch or poison other people's hearts in such a way that could have never occurred alone. Only you choose
the way those hearts are affected, and those choices are what life's all about.
Friendship is a Priceless Gift, It cannot be bought or
sold; But its value is far greater, Than a mountain made of Gold.
For gold is cold and lifeless, It can
neither see nor hear; And in the time of trouble, It is powerless to cheer.
It has no ears to listen, Nor
heart to understand. It cannot bring you comfort, Or reach out a helping hand.
So when you ask God for a
gift, Be thankful if He sends ... Not diamonds, pearls or riches, But the Love of Real True Friends.
A Lot of Things Different
I'd have spent a lot more time out in the pouring rain Without an
umbrella covering my head And I'd have stood up to that bully when he pushed and called me names
But I was too afraid And I'd have gone on and saw Elvis that night he came to town But mama
said I couldn't And I'd have went skinny dipping with Jenny Carson that time she dared me to
But I didn't Oh I, I'd have done a lot of things different
I wish I'd have spent more time with my dad when he was alive
Now I don't have the chance And I wish I'd told my brother
how much I loved him before he went off to war But I just shook his hand I wish I'd have gone to church
on Sunday morning when my grandma begged me to But I was afraid of God I wish I would of listened
when they said boy you're gonna wish you hadn't,
But I wouldn't
Oh I, I'd have done a lot of things different People say they wouldn't
change a thing Even if they could Oh but I would
There was this red dress she wanted one time so bad she could taste
it And I should have bought it, but I didn't She wanted to paint our bedroom yellow and trim it in
blues and greens
But I wouldn't let her, It wouldn't of hurt nothing She loved to be held and kissed and touched But I didn't
do it, not nearly enough And If I'd have known that dance was gonna be our last dance
I'd have asked that band to play on and on, on and on Oh I, I‘d have done a lot of things different
People say they wouldn't change a thing Even if they could Oh,
but I would
Oh I, I'd done a lot of things different I think we'd all do a lot of things different.
It was love at first sight.
And try as I might.
I
couldn't find
a way to get you off my mind.
You've stolen my heart
and given me a brand new start.
I
just want you to know
that as our love grows
please treat my heart with care.
Be fair.
Don't break
my heart
by wanting to be apart.
Because I'm in love with you
and I feel everything you do.
You've
stolen my heart,
so please be smart.

Friends are like rainbows. This I know.
Because each color stands alone, yet blends together from a distance.
As friends, we each have our own identities, but also have some similarities.
We have lots in common that we like to do, and we have values and morals that are similar.
A rainbow makes you smile just as good friends do too.
From a distance you can spot a beautiful rainbow, just as you can spot good friends - us!
